Kyoto Goals
A U.N report has given mixed reviews on reducing greenhouse-gas emissions. The findings released in November indicated that 19 industrialised nations are falling behind on their emissions goals for 2012 under the Kyoto Protocol. The level of emission has grown 2.3% since 2000. However, overall emissions have dropped 5% below 1990 levels. There are 16 nations which are on track including the United Kingdom. The list is given below:
